Volunteer Awards 2020

Our Volunteer Awards are a chance to thank and reward the fantastic work our volunteers do to spread the word about the services and support on offer from Police Care UK and for all of them who support all those who need it

Nominations for this years awards is now open!

Police Care UK would like to take the opportunity to celebrate our amazing volunteers around the UK!

This month we are calling on EVERYONE connected to the organisation - staff, trustees, partners, supporters and beneficiaries - to NOMINATE a volunteer that they feel deserves recognition for their work promoting the work we do, going the extra mile, and supporting those in need. This can be an individual or a team of volunteers. ALL nominations are welcome!

Your nominations are an opportunity to say THANK YOU to those who support our cause. They will help us to showcase the enormous value volunteers bring to Police Care UK and inspire others to join us! Take a moment to thank our fantastic volunteers who make the work of Police Care UK possible, by nominating someone today.

Nominations are now OPEN and will close on 31st August 2020. Please join us in celebrating all our volunteer achievements and success by getting involved.

How to nominate someone

You can nominate by completing our short nomination form further down the page.

All you need to do is tell us who you want to nominate and give us as much detail as you can about why you think they deserve a Police Care UK Volunteer Award. You can tell us:

  • How they have upheld the Police Care UK values and been an excellent ambassador for our organisation
  • What difference they have made to your life through the support they have given you, or someone you know
  • How they may have made an extra effort to go the extra mile and help someone out.
  • How they have demonstrated empathy and compassion within their volunteer role
  • How they have used their influence to make a significant impact in their local area or force

Once we receive your nomination, we'll decide which category award they are most suited to, and if they have been a real superstar they might even be eligible for our coveted VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR award for 2020.
