Trusts and Foundations

We can make a life-changing difference to members of the Police Family who have suffered both physical and psychological harm as a result of their duties. We value your expertise and will work in partnership with you as we build our 4 pillars for lasting change: Prevent, Support, Recover and Influence. We will report back to you to help you demonstrate your impact on a local or national level and we will share your involvement in our projects.

Featured Programmes

Trauma Therapy

Harm caused by policing includes exposure to: “sudden or unnatural death (eg murder, suicide), incidents involving children, serious injury or physical assault, major incidents (eg terrorism), and vicarious or secondary trauma (eg calls, files, images, audio, Body Worn Video).” Police Care UK provides evidence‑based therapy delivered by specialist emergency‑services clinicians

Grants and Peer Support

Giving practical, emotional and financial support to ensure no serving or veteran police (including officers, staff and volunteers), or their families, faces harm or hardship alone.

Research and Advocacy

Working independently of policing we advocate for change through targeted research and pilot programmes providing evidence to influence how trauma is understood, funded and addressed across policing.
