Manchester Marathon Route
Known for being one of the flattest and fastest marathon courses in the UK, the Manchester Marathon takes runners on a 26.2-mile journey through the vibrant streets of Greater Manchester. Starting near Old Trafford, the route passes through lively communities including Stretford, Sale, Timperley, Altrincham and Chorlton, where thousands of spectators create an unforgettable atmosphere. With long, sweeping roads, incredible crowd support and an iconic finish on Oxford Road, the Manchester Marathon is the perfect event for first-time marathoners and seasoned runners chasing a personal best.
