The purpose of the fund
Our Family Time fund exists to help police families rebuild connection, reduce pressure and spend meaningful time together through funded respite, activities orshort breaks, particularly where this wouldn’t otherwise be possible. (‘Families’ are immediate family members who are or were financially dependent on the injured serving or veteran member of the police community).
Who this fund is for:
You may be able to apply for a grant from this fund if you are:
- An immediate adult family member of a registered serving officer, staff, volunteer or veteran member of the police community, (including those killed on duty), or
- A registered serving or veteran member of the police community applying on behalf of their family
In all cases, the application must relate to harm caused by a policing role that is registered with us.
We want to help as many people as possible, and while we do have some eligibility criteria in place, our team is always happy to talk through your situation. Click on the registration information button to find out who we can support and what you’ll need to meet to apply.
