‘Psychological services should be Police Care UK’s priority.’
That was the clear message from more than 2,100 serving and veteran police officers, staff, and family members who took part in our 2025 Service Demand Survey.
91% of respondents told us that they, or a loved one, had experienced harm through policing, while 53% said trauma had a major impact on their lives.
In response, last year we delivered over 5,000 therapy sessions, expanded our Clinical Services and Volunteer Teams, and broadened our Financial Assistance Grants Programme.
